Bonsai works entirely on your iPhone. We do not collect, store on servers, sell or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs.

What stays on your device

• Your trees, their names and history, and the photographs you take of them, saved in the app's own storage.
• Your settings, such as sound, haptics and hemisphere.

If you use iCloud Backup, iOS may include this data in your personal device backup, which is handled by Apple.

Purchases

Bonsai Patron is an optional purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details or Apple Account. The app only checks with Apple whether the purchase is active.

Sharing and saving photographs

Pictures leave the app only when you choose to share or save them, using the iOS share sheet. Where they go is up to you.

Deleting your data

You can delete a photograph or give away a tree in the app at any time. Deleting Bonsai removes all of its data from your iPhone.

This website and contacting us

This website uses no cookies or analytics. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.
